Since online counseling is still a relatively novel concept to most, I felt it was worth taking a moment to go over the reasons why I offer both office and online support.

So here I am, with two licenses from two different states, and confined to one office. Seems restrictive if you ask me. No matter where you are located in the state of FL or PA, I can help you! 

It's limitation friendly...

Online counseling is a great equal opportunity format. I often deal with clients with debilitating anxiety that prevents them from taking on new risks. So I would like to meet my clients in a space that suits their comfort level. I also have clients that may travel, and what's more convenient than having your therapist in your back pocket...literally! And of course, I want to remove the barrier for any physical limitations preventing individuals from getting into my office.

It's no different than the office...

I treat previous office clients and my online clients exactly the same. There is no loss of traction when working with me online. I can still see your face, hear your voice, and pick up on body language. My clients online see the same successes that office clients see.

But how does it work? 

All you need is a device with a working camera and audio piece. I utilize Simple Practice's Telethealth platform to connect with you, which is HIPAA compliant and secured. You will follow the link that I email you and it will take you to an online waiting room where you will wait for me to enter. Simple!
